hello, due to having 3 engineers out to look at my problem boiler,it is still not working,
i have a baxi bermuda 50/5 inset
the problem is it will not ignite, the red light is on at the front, and an amber light behind, flashes about every 5 seconds,
occasionally it will kick in and work fine, but usually not working,

engineer one said it was the pcb board, which was already changed about 2 months ago.
enginneer 2 came to fit board, but after pulling it all apart, seems to thonk it was something else,he tried board and got the same problem,he went and turned the pump up tp 3 and seemed to think it was a s ticky pump,
all worked fine for a few hours then it stopped again
engineer 3 came and instaled new pump, all worked well for a couple of hours, now its stopped again,
it has just started for 20 seconds and cut out,

any ideas anyone,?
regards tony

You will need to employ an RGI to inspect or replace either the oxypilot assy or the thermister.

3 different companies that can not solve the problem?
What is the history of the boiler?

i wasnt expexting such a quick reply,

its the same company, but 3 diferent engineers,
the boiler is 7 years old,we have it serviced regulary to,
ive turned it all off,put the controls now calling for heat, lit the fire, now the boiler has kicked in,but not for long i bet,

Any faults/problems before?

Did those services include actually stripping and cleaning the boiler? How long do they take to do a service?

Is it the same company that installed it?

the only problem weve had was the pcb board changed a couple of months ago,but an engineer came and tried a new board the other day,and said that it wasnt that,
the sercice is usually about an hour, and it has been fully stripped and cleaned and tested
no its a different company that came to service it,as the company that fitted it initially wired it up wrong, which was spotted by an engineer that came to service it,so i dont have much faith in the installation company,

in the last 30 mins ive been sat here, its started about 5 times, but cut out after 20- 30 seconds

Maybe it's and idea to get the M.I. if only to know what to do when certain lights come on.
