Hi, I want to cut a bamboo garden screening along its length. It is 2 meters high by 4 meters long and I would like to cut it in two pieces of 1 meter high.

Shall I use an angle grinder with a wood blade, a jigsaw or a circular saw?

What is the current situation? Is the screening currently installed? Is it fixed to a fence/trellis? Can it be removed?
If it is loose you could roll it up and then saw it with a normal panel saw. If it's fitted I would use a circular saw or maybe a jigsaw, depending on how much control I could maintain on the power tool and the depth behind the screening and preferably using a second pair of hands. Definitely NOT the angle grinder!

it is not installed yet, I will roll it up and use a fine saw
many thanks!!

square up the ends so all tubes are level

roll a sheet off news paper around a couple off times at the point you want to cut then you will have a strait cut all the way round if you cut 2mm away from the paper

You can get a wood blade for an angle grinder. It only has four teeth. I've got a 9" one. and was using it yesterday in fact. Great for demolition work,
Doesn't make the tidiest of cuts though.
