Thanks for your help.
I measure the flow rate from the shower, with the head on it's a lot slower. I noticed when I ran just hot and no cold from the shower the problem also didn't seem to happen.
So it's a flow issue? I'll try a new head when I go out this afternoon and see if it makes...
sometimes the shower lasts for longer than other times without the red light coming on on the boiler.
I suppose it could be a flow problem, not good. Are there any simple checks I can do to prove the shower is faulty before getting someone to fit a new one?
Thanks again for helping
Thank you for your help
I am not sure what model it just says Baxi on the front of it. The gauge is at 1.5 ish.
It seems odd that the other taps are fine it's justg the hot side of the shower
Hello all
Our boiler has a problem that when the shower is on sometimes the water runs hot for a few minutes then cold, sometimes just cold, it also makes a terrible banging/knocking noise when this happens. All the other hot taps seem to work ok. It's a Baxi Boiler, looks new(ish)?

Hi
I have a Worcester cdi rsf combi boiler, it is I'd say 8-10 years old. Today the heating didn't come on this morning. It has a little clock on the front, that has a dial with arrow pointing and a switch on it that goes from 0 to I. It is on I for clock on.

o tank or your help ! One last q - what a normal plastic downpipe clip fit a cast iron pipe as well, in case I need to secure the lower pipe from the diverter back to the wall? Or are there special clips?
ok i see! thanks for your help again :) The only problem is from the cast iron rainwater diverter in the link, the connection to the water butt is on the wrong side for me!!
Not only that, but if I cut the downpipe brackets to get the lower part of the downpipe from the wall, it will...
thnaks for your reply. Does the cast iron diverter kit have to be joined by the traditional way though as I have not caulked etc before and not sure how to?
If I did use the normal one, as you say it may look s**t, even if I did "try it", after cutting the 30mm of pipe from the down pipe...
Is there a connector available that anyone could recommend that allows cast iron downpipe (rainwater sized) to join with new plastic downpipe? Are the 2 different diameters or are they the same? Thanks for your help :)
Hi, just a quick question please? Will a normal plastic downpipe bracket be ok to support a short section of cast iron down pipe about 2 feet high as I had to cut through the original bracket to fit a rainwater diverter! Thanks for your help?
