Great call Rocky. Disconnected the damaged one, still the same, disconnected the other one and reconnected the damaged one and they are now running off 1 PIR. Just gonna cover the damage and see how it goes.

Terryplumb, Yes they do. These are the lights I have. Oldbutnotdead, yes the switch does give me the option to go between PIR and always on? The switch itself feel fine, it is not used very much and it was installed only 4yrs ago.

Thanks Terry. No, using the boiler is a no no. Very old and just waiting for it to die. So i'll be looking for a new shower then. 10.8kW is the highest available. I will buy a better model and hope it improves my morning ablutions.

mine is a cold water feed shower so the boiler has no effect on it.
