That is a shock. I think a policy with them bought seperatly from a dealer costs£1000 a year unless I read it wrong. I saw a dealer today using a company called warranties 2000. They have a high trust pilot score and it's a little over £100 a year.

I just heard back from a company in Devon. It might be innocent but all the photos of Their different cars are all parked outside different houses. I would have thought they'd all be in on the same lot.

Does that include an AA warranty bought from the dealer?

I had a look at auto trader's explanation page. They say you get plenty of time and you're covered by the 2015 act. Also they say you have more rights of you don't view it before it's delivered. Then you get the cooling off period. But who knows how true that is.

Probably about 10 years. I was thinking of spending £5 to 6k. Having looked around it seems a little bit more would get something that's Euro 6 (ulez compliant). As car dealers are rare and over priced where I'm living im thinking about buying from a distance. Anyone got any thoughts about having one delivered unseen? It would save time and bother. Auto trader say never buy without seeing the car except from dealers in their site who offer this service...

I'm at a complete loss on this. Finding a car to buy in my area is hard enough but checking the asking price is impossible. I just saw a Mazda cx-5 for £6750 on auto trader. Auto trader say that's £650 under market value. So I went on parkers who value it at £4750. That's with the milage etc...

Thanks for that. It's confusing though isn't it. I think the price people ask for and what they actually get makes it hard to judge a cars value.
