If the existing Tails are a suitable size & In good condition , I’d look at running them Into a Henley Block in your Flat & run 25mm tails from there into the new Consumer Unit Regards Phil

    Insulation for a shed?

We Insulate a lot of Sheds & Concrete sectional Garages , we use 50mm Kingspan ( if the Shed Framing Battens are deep enough ) or we batten out the Framing to enable the Kingspan to fit with an air gap behind it , we always use 6mm or 9mm Plywood glued & nail gun pinned , there’s always a chance...

SWA only or T+E joined to SWA for new garage supply

I fit supplies to lots of Sheds / Garages , imo always best to have minimal joints in a Supply Cable , so for me it’s SWA all the way , at the Con Unit either gland it onto the Con Unit or terminate into a Wiska or Metal box & carry the Cable through to the Con Unit cheers Phil

    Extractor fan question

It needs venting out either via a Vent on the Soffitt ( if you have one ) or through a Tile Vent , or as others say there’ll be problems in the Loft space in the future . Phil
