Sorry, new to this. If I wobble the 2nd orange fitting covering the water, I get 'smoke' stop wobbling. no 'smoke' any ideas ? thanks

My Optymist is short on smoke since moving it 6yards. If I take out the orange tank and wobble the next orange fitting...smoke?
