    Ryobi 18v li-Ion 4.0ah battery life issue

Hi, I've just bought two new Ryobi 4.0ah battery's and charger, well in fact bought them with a hammer drill as part of a package for £155 as worked out you got a free drill and charger instead of buying the battery's for £75 each at b&q. I mainly needed them to power my old Ryobi blue +ONE...

Fitting a new shed roof & insulating?

My current shed is a 2x2m shed using shiplap, it was a double fronted shed from b&q around 7 years ago. Last winter the roof started getting damp in the edges & now it is shot to hell. So now has come the time to fit a new roof. I also want to insulate the whole shed due to every winter I use...

Burning Garden Waste ( Hours Laws )

I always found this a bit of a tricky issue where neighbours are concerned. Quite simply somebody will always get upset about something you do that is not what you normally do. In 09 I started landscaping the rear garden & decided it was far easier to burn it all rather that making 10 trips...

Can I have a conservatory without the internal door fitted?

I got quoted £7680 for it being around 1.6x3.5m. Half brick insulated with a cavity like the house walls & also insulated floor, triple glazing with a glazed roof that reflects the heat out in summer & in for the winter. I was also told that they would go 1m down for the footings.

Can I have a conservatory without the internal door fitted?

Ok, so no pp to worry about? What about the building regs etc? You will have to forgive me as I have no idea about these things having never before looked into anything like this or had any work done on the house.

Can I have a conservatory without the internal door fitted?

Thanks for the help woody. My first thoughts were just to remove the doors after & then when it gets flagged when I come to sell in the future get some doors fitted. I was just concerned about if I remove the doors will it then be classed as an extension & then subject to planning? What would...

Can I have a conservatory without the internal door fitted?

Hi Guys, I'm looking at having a very small conservatory or lean-to built onto my detached bungalow at the back. I only want to extend out by 1.6m & 3.5m across so having a door between would just be in the way. I basically want to extend my living room a small bit to fit in a table & chairs...

    Combi, system or regular boiler?

No I'm not going to fix the old boiler as we had agreed to replace it when it went wrong & not before like the misse's wanted too. The back boiler I would like to do but increasingly looking like we won't be doing it + the misse's has never wanted to do it either just me. Its still an...

    Combi, system or regular boiler?

That was for a combi boiler, the qoute for £2600 with a small Valliant. What should I be looking to pay for a new Worcester Bosch combi fitted? What should I be looking to pay for a new Worcester Bosch regular boiler fitted?

    Combi, system or regular boiler?

Wouldn't the cost of hooking up the back boiler to a thermal store & also a new boiler be a lot? It sounds like what I want to do but the cost of the whole job is a consideration as can't afford to spend thousands of ££££s

    Combi, system or regular boiler?

We had a quote for a combi at £2600 & he told us it was cheaper than just replacing our existing regular boiler which I thought was odd. He also quoted on a new regular boiler & back boiler hook up at £4800 which he wasn't keen on doing. We never used him at those prices & the fact that he...

    Combi, system or regular boiler?

I've been told the back boiler will only heat the hot water & not the radiators as its not big enough. I thought maybe this will still save me some cash in the long run but then thought the hot water will be hot anyway when I have the central heating/radiators on so whats the point? I've...

    Combi, system or regular boiler?

I've been told not, I guess it would be if the right person where to come along but getting somebody to even give me a quote is hard work round here. I wanted to get it repaired but the misses is insisting on a new energy efficient condensing boiler. So if this is the way we go then what...

    Combi, system or regular boiler?

Right I'm in need of a new boiler as I have been without one since Xmas. The boiler I have is an Ideal WLX by stelrad group & is leaking water all over the place from the casing seal, when on that is. I have a few questions I need answering so I can make the right decision on which type...
