Hello,

I have recently found that on the front where we were looking at having a border we are unable to do this as there is about 3 inches of concrete coming in from the pavement on the sides of the half moon which I have made where we have a small tree and a couple of plants. Does anyone know what I can do to stop the grass growing into this area? I would like to have some form of border if its possible but I am not sure how I can do this as it is around 2 cm deep and then you hit concrete.

If anyone has any suggestions on what I could potentially do that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

James

Yes I know its just covered. I will try and get you a picture so you have an idea of what I am on about. Its basically a 90 degree angle with a half moon shape at the other end which backs onto the grass. This is on the front so I am not sure a raised bed would work but there again a small raised bed may do so maybe raised by an inch or so could possibly be possible but its the other half's decision as she is adamant that she wants a border.

Hey sorry its taken an age to get the pictures I have been taking advantage of the weather being rain and sun so I have been getting my lawn top dressed and turning over the borders. I had a bit of spare time today so I figured I would grab the pictures before I cleared up.

I have attached two pictures for you one is the shape / area for the border and the other is showing the depth before you hit the concrete.

Thanks

James
