Castle Care / Pyronix Euro 46

Wow, perfect thread, because I'm in the same situation. I read the thread a few times, and I believe that resetting the master code is possible. It also looks like sparkyma was involved somehow. dpm_dpmartin, or anyone else, how did you go about getting the master code reset?

Thanks

In the end the previous owner 'remembered' the Manager PIN and this allowed me to do everything I needed, like setting the time and adding new normal users.

Thanks, I'll have to try and contact the previous owner and see if I can get the master code. In the interm, I also contacted pyronix today, they gave pretty much the same answer. I also contacted the security firm who installed the alarm, the lady didn't really understand what I was on about, but she said someone would come out for £150.

In the interim, does anyone perhaps have any other options?

I mainly work on euro panels and they can most of the time be crashed and back doored into engineering. If any codes are lost. I also fit visonic receivers and wireless pirs rather than the big zem32 wireless.

Thanks, any guides out there how to do this or is that not something we can discuss here? Is there anyone on this forum who is an alarm engineer who can perform the reset procedure (with the blessing of castle tech)? Obviously with payment (in Essex)

Yeah, you can back door it into engineering.. Send me a private message :)

Sorry to post twice but this thread is very appropriate to my issue with someone offering help!

After finding the forum through google I read the thread saying it was possible to "backdoor enter" the panel when the engineers code is lost.

I spoke to Pyronix today who confirmed they can easily talk an engineer through the process easily but as Im an end user they wont

Do we still have any friendly engineers happy to assist with this as Im perfectly capable of doing it but need an engineer on the phone to be told how!
