Hi, I would like some advice if anyone can help.
Our living room floor is nice and level thanks to a self leveling concrete screed but as our house is very old all of the walls are not straight.
I have engineered wood boards that clip into one another (with adhesive too) and go on top of the underlay to form a 'floating floor'.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of advice when it comes to floating floors in rooms with angled walls on the internet. If the walls were straight I'd start at the top left longest wall but the boards would be all skewed. I can't start at the centre and work my way outwards as I can't secure them down.
Would my best option be to use a chalk line down the centre of the room and then work out what angle i need to cut my boards that go up against the wall so that the rest remain straight?
I've attached a rough floor plan i just scribbled if it helps.
Thank you,
Regards,
AJ
