I'd also have to thank belboz , I'd almost missed his comment about candles and water. I've got quite a stash of candles too and keep some water stored just in case too ( more than 36 L though) along with a further 1000L in butts which would be ok after filtering and purification if it were absolutely necessary .

who would want to survive a nuclear war, no thanks. i dont think there will be a nuclear war. God i believe will not allow man to destroy mankind and the earth, man has not got that authority.

God has provided,there is plenty of food to go round, its the corrupt governments, people . greed,love of money,power , that stops these poor getting what they need.

i was talking about a world nuclear war, which would finish this planet 10 times over.
its free truth. for your benefit. take it or leave it, its your choice, as long as you know the consequences. i would love it if you would take it serously. and i know that God loves mankind enough to be patient in us to take a hold of this gospel truth. he does not want any one to perish. his love is everlasting.but he is Holy also, and must deal whith sin. he has given us a way out. if we dont take it, there is nothing more can be done.
I don't think the Swiss are planning that these proposals are for anything as severe as a nuclear war. That would take a lot of effort and planning and probably wouldn't garentee survival. I see the proposals as more of a safeguard against lesser emergencies , bad weather , power failures , social unrest or even strikes. I can see the sense in having a few weeks or months of provisions in the house but can also see how much of the population would react , up in arms saying the government have no right to try to tell us to stockpile food and so forth.
I suppose it could be argued that by allowing the bombing he was saving the lives of those who would have died in a conventional invasion.....
........... doesn't explain why he allowed the war to start in the first place though
the thing about stockpiling is, anything that last more than a week or more, and people find out your stocked up,you would have the means to guard yourself.

Heaven must be so boring, full of do gooders and holier than thou types. On second thoughts, I'm sure any God would not want to be surrounded by such nauseous types, and would surely send them downstairs to Beelzebub. The less self righteous are better company. Mine's a pint, cheers.
