Hi All,

I have a Texecom Premier Elite 48 Panel. I would like to add a 1000w external floodlight and a high powered internal strobe light, that are triggered on alarm activation .
Would someone be so kind, as to advise on what additional components I would need to trigger these devices, and how one would connect this setup to the panel?

Many thanks in advance. (y)

Elmdene do a mains switching relay MRT01 see hunters wholesale , you could use a relay but this device has fuse protection

1kW floodlight? Coo, that'll want some big contacts!! Why not opt for a couple of hundred watts of LED - it will last longer and be cheaper to run. Also, the inrush current surge is less likely to fry your relay contacts.

Thanks for this. I have ordered one. Where would I connect this to on the panel?
As it is a light I wish to power, I don't really want it to stay on. Maybe just for the duration of the alarm and then switch off.
Is there any way to do this?

I have just downloaded the instructions and it has a timer built in. Do I just connect this to the bell or siren output, or something different? Thx
