I thought I would share this! I'm glad we don't see these very often! - Has anyone ever come across such saftey hazards whilst globe trotting?!

I have seen scaffolding made from tree branches tied together with rope in Yugoslavia (now Montengro), not as frightening as those though.

Back in 2004 I visited Hong Kong and much of the scaffolding was of bamboo. I suppose it looked odd against the modern buildings but we were told of a hurricane ( or is that a cyclone in the pacific?) that had damaged several steel scaffolds but left the bamboo unscathed .

and apparently when it needs moving they get a load of guys and moved round the corner,try doing that with a steel 1.
