Wonderfire gas will not light

I have had a Wonderfire type 057 since Sept 13. I have had numerous (about instances of it not lighting. It has a remote hand held device for ignition.

I have replaced batteries many times with no success. I have reset the receiver box a few times.
All with no success.

The engineers have visited and replaced the main receiver box , cleaned the fire out many times, replaced the coals once. After each visit the fire works for a while then ceases to light.

I have an extended warrenty on this fire (fortunately) but this will cease sometime in the future.

I will call out the engineers again (office closed now) . They take about two/three weeks to respond usually.

Any ideas?

Is Valor who make these going out of business??

This is a Valor Company notice from 2013 of which latterly I was aware.
Wonderfire as trade name ceased and some of the range encompassed under the Valor name

Sounds like you have a case for demanding a refund or replacement under " not of merchandisable quality" legislation. I would think this still applies even if they have been taken over by someone else.
