The knob which turns the lock of the bathroom door is disconnected. Could someone advise whether I can easily fix this? I don't know what search terms to use to find relevant information via Google.

Disconnected? Hummm. Does it come off in your hand? Does it turn, but keep turning? I couldn't really say how to fix it without actually seeing it.

It's actually easier if you follow 2 simple steps.

1.Remove the four screws holding handle plate on booth sides, and take the plate off.

2.remove the two screws you can see in the last picture and pull out the lock mechanism. You might have to pry it out gently with a flat
screwdriver as it will be a tight fit.

Do you have a local hardware store nearby? Show the person behind the counter and see if the can either show you what's damaged, or give you a like for like size replacement.
