avoid buying online.... esp anything starting v**t***a

Use a proper plumbers merchant, or better yet get a CIPHE registered plumber to help you choose, and let him/her take responsibility for supplying and fitting it properly.

Sheez, my experiences of customer supplied bathroom fittings would make your hair curl.

What's wrong with Victoria Plumb (for my future reference)?

Don't buy a Better Bathroom toilet if plastic fittings are used to secure the seat. After a while the fittings come loose, the seat slides about, best of all, you have to pull the toilet to re-tighten

Does not come with instructions, often arrive damaged, reasonable customer service for replacements but can take a long time.

Quality of product IMHO is poor.

Buy one that uses a standard toilet seat. Don't buy one that has its own custom seat shape as you won't be able to get a replacement seat in 20 years' time.

go to grahams (plumbers merchant) get a toilet they sell one with the cistern pack fitted, tighten up 2 bolts bit multi kwik and flexi hose with isolator to the torbeck valve....job done 25 mins

Buy a cooke and Lewis Fabian from.b+q its really a rak600 which is a copy of a Roca hall which costs £400. As a rak600 its about £180 as a Fabian its £80-£125. Oh its got geberit internals and brass cistern bolts!
