On Aug 2nd 2015 a new media frenzy occurred when highly reputed media and yellow press reported another aircraft part, an aircraft door, had been found. Malaysia's Ministry of Transport as well as Reunion Police identified that part as a domestic ladder and said, other debris also found so far have nothing to do with an aircraft.

The wing section has been confirmed as belonging to MH 370. The question that has really been bugging me though is what other plane might it have belonged to if not this one??? Are there a plethora of planes currently in operation which just seem to have this flap fall off mid flight without anyone feeling it worthy of mention in newspapers? :confused: All very odd(n)

I think the issue really was that they had to confirm with 100% certainty that it originated from that plane. There have been many crashes over the years, and parts could have floated around the oceans for years. And yes bits do fall off planes.
