'Swarm'

The Huffington Post's obviously lefty, rose-tinted article omitted lots of detail. One that I learned today is the growing crisis with parasites, sorry, illegals who sneak into The UK with kids. Hundreds of these kids are being abandoned, and the onus is on the local authority (ie. us the rate payers) to support these children completely - get this - until they reach 25 years of age. They will be fed, housed, educated and given access to healthcare - and the 25 year liability covers those who might go on to university.

As the numbers grow - as they will due to our hopeless, do nothing politicians, these hundreds of children will turn into thousands. They can't be sent home, because often the authorities don't know where they come from, or there is the usual catch-all about human rights boll0x and their countries being too dangerous. So, some local authority budgets will either break, or us mug tax payers will be screwed for even more in rates. Complete madness!

Rant over!

It tells you everything you need to know about the media and politicians in the Country that they are more concerned with what words are used to described these immigrants than what we do about them.

Not just the media, this focus on Political Correctness is everywhere now. What matters is that you use the right language. What you actually do is not so important. A good example is not criticising the widespread use of medical staff from Africa, and elsewhere. We need them, as we do not train enough staff. And yet this deprives African countries of skilled staff that they trained at their expense.

Don't understand why they don't round these illegal's up and put them in a camp somewhere, France and other EU countries spent 100's of millions wrecking the countries a lot of these people come from and now people in the UK are getting the fallout, Cameron probably thought he was being very clever bombing Libya a country which had an understanding with the EU to control immigration.

That's because the politicians doing the concerning are the ones who booted the floodgates wide open. They have no answers.

When Gadaffi was threatened by The West, he allegedly threatened to "turn Europe black". Looks like he's managing it from beyond the grave.

The Huffington Post isn't left-wing per se (although it clearly has the choice what it reports): afaik, it merely trawls the web for articles from other outlets, and pastes those into its site.

Thanks. Although I have read the odd Huffington article, I don't really have any idea what they are about. That's why my accusation of leftyism was aimed at the article rather than the publisher.
