Any chance we'll be seeing a return of [WIKI] .... [/WIKI] formatting?

Just thought I'd ask before I go and permanently change my file of boilerplates. (Along with font sizes

)

But apart from allowing continued use of [] Wiki tags, pretty pointless, as there's no way to get the tags apart from typing them, and you end up with the full URL in the post anyway, so you might as well just copy & paste that in the first place.

Not for the first time in my life I find myself wondering what on earth was going on in the head of the developer who thought that was the best way to do it.

No - before when WIKI tags were used what was displayed was the name of the article - what would appear in the post as viewed, was, for example:

Electrics:Lighting

Now what appears is the full URL

//www.diynot.com/wiki/Electrics:Lighting

so there is no point in tagging "Electrics%3ALighting".

Particularly as there's not even a button to do it.
