Hi

Unwrapped the unistor and vaillant 624. Also have the VR66 along with VR70. Should this include the VR10? Does the VR10 replace the cylinder stat?

I was wondering if the vr10 replaces the cylinder stat I'm a complete novice.

You shouldn't be fitting this stuff any way... Novice or not. Your installer should be checking the kick out if you have bought it. It is him that has to get it all to work.

Assuming he exists.

Installer is saying I don't require the vr10 the cylinder stat will control temp

Not sure normally the guy installs other brands. So I'm having to do some research myself can't always go with installers

If you're going with full Vaillant controls its best to use the VR10. The one shot cylinder heat will not work without it. Did you mean VRC 470 by VR 70? If you use the VR10 you will be able to control the HW temp from the VRC 470.

Yes I meant the VRC 470
