Hi there guys. having a fully working burglar alarm. I would like to add more protection to my house.
There have been a lot burglaries in my area including some close friends in the early hours at random but in a quick sequence, the usual laptop cars stolen ect. on looking at a friends house who had has laptop stolen. there was a small circle on his kitchen window that had been cut out this was how they gained access. had a look at another neighbor same method on his dining window. the appear to use the sucking method. my guess is they score the window they use a sucker.
as you know most people do not set there alarms at night (the scum obviously know that) and are use this to their advantage. I will add that some of the houses on the estate that were burgled had security systems obviously they were not on. there alarms are just standard just have pirs and door contacts they were obviously useless as the alarm was not on. (no window protection)
so to cut a long story short, is there any kind of wired device that will pick up a frequency to detect this method. I would imagine the knife or whatever they use to score the window would make some sort of a noise a very quiet noise but it wouldn't be silent. is there such a device for this? thanks.
