Hello all, new poster here, hope you can help.

Our attached garage has been converted and used as a room for 20+ years. I'm in the process of turning it back into a garage again so I now want to remove the carpet back to the concrete underneath. Its reasonably level and I want to put some heavy duty interlocking vinyl tiles down.

Unfortunately it is foam backed and was glued down - hence much of the foam remains firmly stuck to the concrete when I'm taking it up.

I'm guessing its going to be fun times with a scraper and (possibly) chemicals but any advice on products to use and the best way to tackle it? Anything I could hire?

Thanks

Mat
