Veritas 8 power button flashing

The power button on my
Veritas 8 control panel is flashing and is preventing me from setting the alarm. Is it a question of checking all the fuses ? Thanks.

No mains or faulty battery , when was the battery last replaced ?

Thanks for relying sparkymarka; I couldn't see a battery in the unit ? Mains are OK.

The battery is / should be, inside the control panel

Ta Europlex; I can't see any battery. I had some electrical work done a couple of years ago and the spark did access the panel- however, the unit has been working fine since then.
