Aw come on Joey, even you are not THAT naïve? There will be another side to the story, there always is. Take those figures with a pinch of salt boyo.

I think it would be a little nieve to assume the UK could take such a stubborn stance due to the fact we're basically the puppy dog of the US empire.
Profound words....poorly spelt, but profound all the same.
What do you mean exactly?

I think the world's run by private banking cartels, I don't think government's can do very much but play by their rules. We don't get such a bad break in the UK, compared to some others.

I don't know who runs the world but whoever it is regularly invents booms, recessions and interest rates. We often hear that: In two years time there will be a recession. How the f*ck do they know. We can't even predict tomorrow's weather. It is my belief that recessions are created to smack the little guy round the face when he starts to rise up from his class.

Who would you replace them with?
Not Labour: they destroyed the country when they last had the chance. Also, they are in the midst of a civil war.
Not SNP: they just want Scottish independence and are willing to sacrifice the whole of the UK to achieve that.
Not Plaid Cymru: they just want Welsh independence......etc.
Not the Greenies: they just want to shut down all the power stations and build more windmills.
Liberals: who are they?
That only leaves...
UKIP. (y)

The government stipulates overall policy. If they spend too much - then they have to borrow. Ergo, it's their fault.

My understanding is the British government went bankrupt decades and decades ago, we're just paying off interest..

I loved Labour's philosophy though, I'm on your side, but reality is the world's got some pretty horrible people in it and they want paying back + there's not one single politican with enough of a backbone to say no to austerity, they might hint at it, but in reality they can't do **** all about it.

Historically if you look at politicans who really have been unhinged radicals in their thinking, they seem to have pretty nasty and misfortunate accidents before they've been able to get a platform, make of that what you will ..

So which of Corbyn's policies don't you like? The poor do a little better, the rich do a little less well. Sounds ok to me.

Those death figures are probably standard attrition rates in any case.

More sensationalist clap trap fed to the gullible naive masses, i.e. Joey et al.
"Standard attrition rates" LOL,that was the excuse the Nazi's allegedly used to explain premature deaths in their detention camps.

Some bloke who had just died was sent a letter from the DWP saying his condition was not considered a reasonable excuse for not looking for work,it seems that under the Tories even rigor mortis isn't a good enough reason for not getting a job.
