The PM is coming under increasing pressure from the rest of Europe to do so.

What do you think?

Personally, I think we should set up large camps on the African continent to keep people safe until they can return to their homes.

The more that Europe takes in - the greater the number that will make the Biblical pilgrimage to the promised land.

Australia did a similar thing and now refugees suddenly don't find Australia at all attractive and no-one goes there.

What do you think?

Japan has double our population and is a similar size.

I'd be happy to take genuine refugees

IF

we could exchange them, one for one, for our illegal immigrants and 'economic migrants'. They could be sent to Syria on an exchange basis!

Anyone listen to Vine on Radio2 today? Apparently we only let around a third of what the Germans are letting in.
Oh, and China, who you can fit about a million Great Britons into its space let in 6 people last year. Yes, six.

Just two questions;

Cameron (Mr immigration down to the tens of thousands ) says we're not taking any. So how many has/will he let in?

And, what the fook is Germany trying to do to itself??

It matters to me not one jot how many the Germans are letting in. If they want their country to be affected in this way, it is none of my concern.

I reckon you could fit a damned sight more than a million Britons into China, but good for them if they won't let others in. They are, after all, trying to reduce their population, and for good reasons.

most off "these people" have risked death or extreme danger abject poverty spending there life savings
most will work far harder than the local population for lower conditions often in over crowded accommodation to better them selves
they are often very educated
and its simply a myth that they want to scrounge they want to work hard and pay there way they simply want a chance to a normal uncomplicated safe life
most want a stable country where they can sleep without the fear off death at any time
as a humane country we need to be more caring there plights are a thousand times worse than our situation on its worst day :(

These are human beings in a terrible situation partly of our making. Risking their lives in the hope of something better. They aren't doing it to sponge of us for £73.10 a week. We are not full, and we can afford to help so we should.
