Fine Line......

The thing is, I'm sure most people would like to get someone in to carry out all their jobs but the one big problem is the cost. I'm not blaming tradesmen because as one myself, I understand how much materials cost these days + the general cost of living + having to pay for continuous qualification updates, then there's tax and VAT & fuel etc. But, someone wanting to extend a pipe by a few inches to connect their new gas hob doesn't understand why it will cost £90 for fifteen minutes work. They will therefore explore the possibility of doing it themselves, illegal or not. I'm not picking on gas fitters. As a bathroom installer, it now costs approx. £250 for basic materials, double what is was when I first started.

The other side of it of course is that some people would not think twice about paying £200 per month on their phone.

I thought Jesus was the son of God and not Joseph or was that the excuse Mary used to explain to Joseph how she managed to get pregnant while still a virgin.

Well, I suppose we can't be sure.
As I understand it, God made her pregnant. I don't know how he did it exactly; it may have been some angel that he sent. So that would make three possible dads: God, his dad by proxy; Joseph, his adopted dad; and an angel, his biological dad.
Such things can become really quite complicated.
