Waist size trousers!!!

Try being 6ft 4" with a 40" waist and 33" inside leg...takes me weeks to find trousers and jeans that fit...all the manufacturers think if you have a 40" waist you must be short and fat!! GGrrrrrr

OH no they dont! Not in the supermarkets or Primark or mostly anywhere else in Lancashire - they make 40 regular or long but I can never find 40" short!

I was short & fat and really struggled to find trousers that dont also fit under the heel, drag & look naff.

So now I'm having to diet until I am a 38" waist, only another 1/2" to go :)

I can take them up for you. I'm good at sewing.
I can do running stitch, chain stitch, blanket stitch and many more.
Unfortunately, at the moment I have only pink thread.
£20 per leg (minimum 1 leg) and you pay for delivery and return.

There used to be an Indian tailor (am I allowed to say that?) in a local market that was an absolute genius with a needle & thread. For around a fiver, he could actually narrow the legs of any trousers by unpicking all the seams then re-sewing them. He could take waists in and take waists out and you would never have known.

It generally costs more than they are worth to get them taken up, I'm not doing =-it
22 myself even though I can - I buy trousers I expect them to fit.

pse excue the typing, Milo the bearded dragon just walked over the keyboard :)

Can't get your link to work, SS.

I recently bought two pairs of trousers online from 'Permier Man', at the attractive price of £8 each, post free. The lighter pair is an excellent fit and looks good (according to my wife) but the darker pair, although a good fit, seems a little more baggy around the crotch area. No doubt designed for the 'well endowed'. Both pairs, incidentally, are marketed at the same size. Not complaining, though, especially at that price.

Just go to Jacamo, Click on trousers on the left column then highlight the sizes you need ie waist and leg measurements.
