Hi, I am trying to install a double under counter oven from Siemens- dimensions: 71.7cm high x 59.5cm wide x 55cm deep. I will have a gas hob on top which should recess into the worktop.

Width and depth of the oven are standard I understand.

My question is what carcass do I need to fit this- I checked B&Q and Magnet and both companies were not that helpful. The latter was more helpful and mentioned end panels etc and told me to contact B&Q as they are cheaper. B&Q kept saying they don't do it... yet they sell end panels.

Can anyone kindly help me with the exact items I need to buy- assume some wood underneath is needed too- and runners? Any links would be very helpful.

many thanks!

Alex

Installation instruction would normally tell you all you need to know?

you say it is 59.5cm wide.

Unless you mean the projecting trim, I can't see it fitting into a standard cab which is 600mm wide.

When I had this situation I bought 2x end panels from B&Q, cut the bottoms back so the kickboard could be fitted. The oven came with a pair of metal brackets that were screwed to the panels, and the oven sat on these. Took a while to get them to the correct height!
