Wireless security camera

Can anyone give me some help on wireless security cameras ..
I would have peace of mind if my mother had one fitted at her house so l could check on her security late at night as in the day time I can go around ..
I have seen a wireless ip surveillance camera with night vision that you can use with a app on you iPhone..
I have wifi in my home but my mother doesn't , will the camera still work on my iPhone from my house ...
If not does anyone have any good suggestion on a security system that will work onto my iPhone ...

Your mother would need broadband or a 3g router with a contract data/ sim .... How much do you want to spend ?

Not to much but open to suggestions of any good security cameras l could use ...
So I cannot use wireless security in my mothers home without her having broadband ..

If my mother had broadband / router would I be able to see inside my mothers house from my house or anywhere I could be on my iPhone..

Not to good on these things so can someone tell me if I get a router for my mothers house and buy a dongle for the router then put a wireless security camera in her house will I be able connect to the camera with my iPhone from my house...
If this is possible , can someone suggest a router and dongle I could buy..

You can buy an Arlo system which is wireless, it connects to the wifi and you can watch it on your mobile phone, tablet or PC
