Hi my scenario.
I want to put my stand alone garage and shed on it's own zone. Straight forward enough, but I want it to be set all the time not just when I'm away from the house , I don't want to have the pain of setting a zone every time I go in and out the garage on my house key pad.. in an ideal world I would have a button/key at the back door to isolate the garage if and when I go in it.
Any Knowledge would be much appreciated.

Scantronic 5158 Zone Omit Module. An external key switch can also be used to operate this. Do it properly.

Thanks for that, would that suggest that I would set "part" alarm ie set it so only the garage alarm is on "permanently" but use the zone module to isolate as and when needed ?

Using the Zone Omit you can wire the garage into any type of circuit you like, it is what it is called, a Zone Omit unit. To enter the garage turn it off, if not the alarm will operate as if the Zone Omit was not there.
