My Hotpoint WD440 has now started to break off the the little plastice feet on my Drum paddle lifters , when on fast spin i hear a noise which seems to be coming from the space between Stainless steel Drum and Plastic skin , I have had Top & back cover off and have had a good look inside the machine but can't seem to see anything that is loose and have even had a torch shinning inside Drum ( when paddles removed ) to see if there is anything in the space left by paddles again all i see is the element.
Adding more salt to the wound this only seems to happen on occassions and not everytime it is on a fast spin so totally confused.
So i hope someone else has had this problem before and has an answer as i am totally baffled , if pictures are need to let you see the state off the drum paddles please ask and i will post

Possibly something ( bra wires seem quite common for some reason) has got between the inner & outer drums, take of the sump hose & turn the inner drum by hand for a few minutes & see if anything drops out.

i gather the sump hose will be the rubber hose that drops from main drum to the drain hose

i would just like to say thanks for all your help as i did what you said and in the filter i found £2.25p in various coins so i can only guess that when machine went in fast spin there was enough speed to dislodge some coins and spin them with wash , the only thing that does baffle myself and now neighbour is how they would get back into filter and the little ball enclose them , but life at times is a mystery so why can't washing machines lol

done a wash yesterday and put machine on fast spin and yes it worked fine very smooth running and not any unusal nosies so again thanks for your ace
