I'm going to be papering my living room with matching paper and the room has 4 windows and 2 doors...
What is the best way to do this without losing to much paper..
Where to start..

Its more important to work out where you're going to finish. Inevitable pattern loss means you need to finish behind a door or unseen corner. Hard to give any further advice without seeing a plan or a photo.

General rule of thumb, start the furthest corner from the door you come in from and work from left back to the door and right back to the door. As dcdec says any pattern loss will behind the door/above your head etc.

Is there anyway of losing so much matching wallpaper whilst going around the room when you come to the windows..

Floor length curtains will conceal a pattern mismatch each side of the window.

Patterns vary in their mismatch - if you've got big semi-random flowers then you can cut out a few odd flowers and stick them over the join so thereisn't a single vertical line of mmismatch.
