Hi there,
Am doing a temporary refresh job in the bathroom as plan to completely gut and refit in approx 18 months time. (plastering, tile, suite, shower etc)
Walls in bathroom were a little shoddy so sanded as best as possible and used a decent quality lining paper and plan to paint on advice of guy in 'Brewers'. My papering job is looking pretty good i must say.
He advised that Dulux Trade Diamond Matt (super durable) is the best stuff for paint and is what's used these days instead of the traditional 'Kitchen and Bathroom' stuff sold in B&Q etc
Q1 - Was he correct or telling porkies ?
Q2 - Is it any good ?
Q3 - I already have the old style K&B paint on the ceiling. Can i just paint over it with the diamond matt stuff (if the answer to the above 2 are both YES) or does it need sanding ?
Q4 - Finally, should I water down any of the coats and if so, what percentage ?
Many thanks in advance
