Coming to a town near you - SOON

Slightly longer answer - Who are "this bunch"? I don't know anything about any of the individuals in the video so find out the background & skills and then I'll give you a proper answer
Why do you need to know the backgrounds of these people to work out if what they are doing is right or wrong? They don't need to be skilled to trash a place.

Not the cameramen obviously.
If you moved to another country and a large group of Brits were trashing the place, would you walk along with them or make yourself scarce so that you were not associated with them? It looks to me that they all in agreement with what's happening.

But that's the point I'm making (not very well!) - without knowing context how can you make a decision?

Without context we run the risk of jumping to conclusions.

I understand what you are saying in that we cannot jump to conclusions about the one that are not shown causing damage but the ones not causing damage are not the problem. I don't really understand what your problem is with that video.

Who are the 'bad guys' in this photo?

My problem is that EVERYBODY in the video is condemned as bad because they are in the video.

The main issue I have is that the video was posted without attribution or context simply to inflame the issue.

But instinctively, four people (two with pistols) beating a cowering individual - would suggest what?

Two possible captions:

"Four cowardly french terrorists beat a loyal member of the fourth Reich"
or
"Four heroes of the resistance capture cowardly collaborator"

The issues I have with this type of thread are:

1) Posting an over-dubbed video from a biased source isn't adding to the debate.
2) Any post not matching your "group-think" is immediately rounded on a liberal/bleeding hearty/lacking balls. This thread is a classic - I post eight words (giving a link to material source) in response to a question and the response is abuse.
3) If you want to have a debate then have a debate - if you want to continue to shout down everybody who you assume doesn't agree with any of your views then carry on - but don't pretend that you're having a debate.

If you have issues with this thread, then feel free to drop out any time you want.
