Coming to a town near you - SOON

Slightly longer answer - Who are "this bunch"? I don't know anything about any of the individuals in the video so find out the background & skills and then I'll give you a proper answer.
...and yet you write
Personally I'd wouldn't make a choice between any gang of organised thugs - they are all scum regardless of background.

This is as bad as any accusation you make about anyone on here being "racisr".

The issues I have with this type of thread are:

2) Any post not matching your "group-think" is immediately rounded on a liberal/bleeding hearty/lacking balls. This thread is a classic - I post eight words (giving a link to material source) in response to a question and the response is abuse.
3) If you want to have a debate then have a debate - if you want to continue to shout down everybody who you assume doesn't agree with any of your views then carry on - but don't pretend that you're having a debate.
How ironic. Lack of self reflection is amazing.

If you really want to debate, then debate rather than posting your condescending clap-trap, semantics and synonym analyses.

Has your last post added to the debate?

How does condemning organised criminal thugs equate to racism?

Is your last post not simply shouting down

In short, you have simply critisised (out of context) earlier postings rather than adding anything to the thread.

If you want to debate then get on with it.

The recent video of football fans on the Paris Metro sparked an international police hunt for the 'racist Chelsea fans.' Although only a few were subjecting the black passenger to racist taunts, it was promoted as a train load of racist fans.
Do you think it would have been better to get the background details and skill sets of the perps before condemning it?

I shall, once you retract your earlier accusations and apologise for making them. If you don't then I see no point with debating anything with someone who can't admit their errors.

As for semantics. It is essential for any debate for terminology to be defined clearly if we're to debate issues.

Finally, my post quoting your contradictory statements is part of the debate.

Absolutely - condemning the train load of people as all the same because of the actions of a few is a perfect example.

The press chose to report was an extrapolation

A couple of white people abuse a black person = train full of white Chelsea supporters abuse a black person = All Chelsea supporters are racists = all white people are racists.

Part of the problem is the way that out media is very skewed and it's difficult to actually get to the base facts. I'm as concerned as anybody about how the various migration issues affect the country but I strongly dislike the media hype - there's never a problem, it's always a crisis/Armageddon. The BBC have moved so far into PC territory that some of their reporting is now laughable.

What's the point of arguing with someone who doesn't even understand his own opinion?

Argue or debate?

Move on - do you want to carry on with:

Tribal Behaviour
Non-contextual posting
Reporting style
Racism
Condescending clap-trap

That's hardly a "sorry".

Now read your own post and tell me which of those categories it falls into

How does condemning organised criminal thugs equate to racism?.
It doesn't. It's the way you wish to generalise about people that is so contradictory. What's the point of arguing with someone who doesn't even understand his own opinion?

So you're going with condescending clap-trap then?
No. I'm awaiting your apology for the accusations you made

Newboy. You need to make your position clear and unequivocal. Stop being so defensive, apologise for your errors and then we can get on with the debate. Out of interest, what is the debate?

And the riot was started when the mafia killed 6 illegal immigrants in a drive by shooting in a battle over drugs and prostitution - which side do you want to back?

a) The illegal immigrants
b) The mafia
I repeat my question. What do you mean by "back"?

For example, I might back Labour, but wouldn't put money on them.

There you go again - is the generally accepted meaning of the word "back" used in that context used to mean place a bet?

Do you want to debate issues?
