Some moderator has done it again.

WTH is wrong with you?

Whoever you are, will you please have the balls to stand up and identify yourself, and explain just which forum rule I contravened by telling people about the offer.

If you just keep on stealthily deleting my posts I can promise you that this issue will never go away.

If I can add, I have just received my sample box and catalog and I am very grateful to BAS for letting me know about the sample offer.
The box has knockouts, earth straps, terminals and a mounting bracket and is weatherproof enough for me so I can use it to build an amateur radio antenna thingy (likely a balun) into it for which the free box will be excellent for and I am grateful to BAS for letting me know about it.

I do not think that the original post could be classed as advertising any more than any other links are.
Facebook, Youtube, anywhere else all contain advertising if you go to them.

BAS, I think that this has more to do with it being a competitor to Screwfix. ;)

For those not in the know, if you were to look for the Wiska website yourself you will find an offer for a free combi 407 box. (see no advertising link).

Indeed my sample arrived today as well, thanks BAS. They seem really well made boxes, I'm impressed!

Mine arrived yesterday. Nice box - I'll find a use for it one day. The only disappointment was that the packing note referred to a tin of mints, which weren't included.

I never even read the packing note when mine arrived yesterday. Mind you I got some mints with the thread lock sample. ;)

Unlikely.

Firstly Wiska aren't a competitor to Screwfix.

Secondly if that were the case then similar problems would afflict any instances here where people link to TLC, CPC, Toolstation, PlumCentre etc etc, and they don't.

Thirdly Screwfix themselves have no problem with people on their site talking about Wiska boxes and linking to a supplier who does compete.

Should be safe now - I think the mod(s) have got the message.

I didn't get any mints either.

Also if your in a wholesaler you can scan a QR code to get a sample that way .
