any suggestions for how I can install decorative eaves if the fenestration of my some windows are too high up and near the eaves itself.

What do you mean by decorative eaves, are we just talking fascias and soffits here or close board and open rafter feet or maybe Michael Angelo frescos, flat roof pitched roof ?

OP, Perhaps you are referring to Victorian style fretwork barge boards and fascias?

why not post a pic of what you've got?

You don't add features to a building in isolation. They should be part of an overall design or style, else they look crap.

I'm sure the neighbouring houses in that photo will soon want to keep up with the Jones :)

But in seriousness, most of the houses and my Treeline Street either have double crested ridge tiles fancy dentils or detailed features. I'll see if I can attach some photos later. But back to my original question....

We added some corbel detailing and a couple of faux purlin ends to this extension in an attempt at highlighting some of the features on the existing buildings. Try not to go overboard and make things over-complicated or overly fussy.

Is it the eaves or verges you want to pretty up, to be honest this should have been designed in at the start, if your windows really are up at eaves height the usual thing is to run the soffit into the reveal
