Hi Guys,

I'm about to install a car scissor lift in my garage on a concrete floor. The lift only raises the car about 1 metre off the floor.

The concrete floor is about 150mm thick and is sound having been in place for over 30 years.

Should I fix it down with anchor bolts or the Fischer resin fastener system.

Either would be fine. You might also want to look at Excalibur bolts. (These are concrete self-cutting bolts). We use them for bolting bollards onto concrete slabs. There are of of course others on the market.

Just found some anchor bolts that were supplied as part of the scissor lift but they are not the normal sliding expanding sleeve type that I'm familiar with.
