Filter when pipes ran behind boiler

Do you defiantly need to install one? See boilers without them a fair bit.

When installing a boiler with a stand-off kit and intending to add a filter, it helps to plan ahead and make sure you leave enough room above the boiler to fit the filter....

On a trouble-free sealed system, no.

If the boilers fine, all rads are hot, no frequent top-ups required and the system is not being modified.

Ok so if its a new system new pipe-work and rads. As long as you flush the system after initial filling then add inhibitor it will likely be ok without.

If the system was properly power flushed when the boiler was installed then why should it become dirty?
