It's not the landlords decision to make regarding the car parking. If the tenant wanted to make things awkward he could. It was down to the tenant being affable and if you weren't to busy gloating you might have realised this.

Now thinking about putting a fence up. Building walls never solved anything, but I would make it easier for us to access our bloody land!
