Okay, it finally stopped trying to dial out.

I called in and hung up after 3 rings, then rang straight back. The modem only answered after the usual 10 rings...

Ok phone line ok three options , wrong number in sms ... Voda server number , b/band filter faulty , noise on line ... Ajust modem count level..

okay, thanks for that. No access to Wintex locally i'm afraid so need to wait till I'm 100 miles away again :(

Should I have any 0044 numbers in front of the number or just the 07785 499993?

Do I put it in both boxes too?

I used the tap number for the second one and that doesn't seem to work either: 07045607101

okay, thanks. Will try on Tuesday evening. if the first doesn't work, should the tap not work instead?

Is there anyway of adjusting this from the keypad - assuming not...

the only numbers I can see in there are the two mobile numbers for sending the texts too... not the centre numbers?

How do I get there?!

Just double checked, definitely can't see this option anywhere... or the option to 'Send an sms' which is what the manual says should be an option?!

I have changed the centre number to just one box, no gaps - still won't dial.

What else should I try?

How would I adjust the modem count level as suggested?

Change sms to fast format set off alarm , does it ring your mobile ? If so all good, go back in change to sms and alter modem count to 3/4 try it again

Hi Stu,

are you dialling into the panel as well as sending texts out via a com2400?

check your programming
check your line etc
check you have a com 2400 and not a 300.

log into engineering and find the following. (x) s the quick number access rather than scroll through.

udl digi options(7).

1. program digi (3), you details in here.
2. digi options(4), digi enabled, dial all numbers only turn on if using more than 1 ARC ie 3 or more numbers, or more than 1 set of coms.
3. setup modules(7), sms centre numbers in here for the service your using the 480 one is no longer available.
4.comport (8), on board digi, com2400

The modem level is set in global options (3), system options(2) scroll down to modem level.
