Odd that with all this fear of EMF they sit in front of computor screens to broadcast the news ( fear ) that all this EMF will harm you.

Yes the micro tesla meter is placed on the work surface in the same place, as the cables all run in a plastic conduit up the wall at the back of the electric cupboard, and there is a work surface their to. I place the meter at right next to the conduit resting on the work surface, making sure not to move it, as small movement can give false readings. Also when i say work surface, its a kitchen work surface, where we work when cooking and preparing food, its about 1.5 to 2 foot above the breaker and a good 3 foot above the PME system.

I also can connect the cable to the water main bond very easily, and give you readings from both moments. Ill do some now.

Well i agree, i think people have to be more careful. I did buy some of those dirty electric filters for about £150, but after i had purchased a meter, which i bought after i completed alot research and thought about it for a month or two.

They do make a noticeable difference, especially with faulty switching power supplies, which for one reason are not filtering out switching harmonics. I had this PS3 that i was using that i bought second hand, and it was an overheating unit, which i expect had been cooking its psu for a while before it was sold to me for £30. When i used it i felt terrible within a couple of days of using it for long spells. I checked with the dirty electric meter, and it was hitting 1999gs units, 2000gs being the max it can measure, which i they say is 10mv transients per gs unit and the mains should be under 50 or 25 for perfect.. I replaced the psu with a better quality enermax 400w and the levels instantly dropped to levels of 400, high but i felt a noticeable improvement difference.

Recently i switched my psu on a workstation i use, and i started feeling worse over the coming days, but i didnt think much about it, but i plugged the dirty electric meter in to the sockets next to the computer and it was at 1800.

Sometimes i get caught out by this issue, by just not thinking about checking all the time. Our house is 50gs units or less especially at night, but when a set of sockets measure at 400 or higher it is noticeable.

I think what your saying about people being fooled is a valid point. The tesla meter also increases when the GS units rise, and the people behind the technology are active people on the subject, with qualifications in the area. I think sceptical is a good approuch, but these guys having some strong points to reinforce there claims.

If anything we should be sceptical of the quality of the electrical goods we buy and use in the uk. The importers and buyers for this big companies who sell the goods, don't know a active power factoring from power rectification, or a capacitor from a resisitor. They buy cheap, and the chinese are happy to sell it, if not make them worse because they need to scrape a profit. The emf problem is because of poor goods, poor technology, greed of some people, and lazyness or cheapness of the consumer.

If anything we need make sure we are receiving what we paid for. We wouldn't take a £5 note in change which was printed on normal printer paper, so why do we buy tvs that have poor power supplies or computer power supplies that can not deliver the wattage and produce electrical interference, because we don't know or don't care, but if it goes bang or burns the house down, that will be a different matter.

People are getting really stupid... and the chinese know this... they buy from Germany because they know they wont cheap on the design, and care to make good stuff.

You surely cannot think that the OP is not suffering from diminished mental capacity? Look at the utterly irrational things he espouses, which fly in the face of masses of scientific rationality.

BAS the way you word things can sometimes be read as abusive. Having irrational thoughts is not a sign of mental dis-order ( or what ever words you used in your description of the person ). Some irrational thoughts have led to major advances in science. It was very irrational to disbelieve that the sun was in orbit around the earth.

Be polite and people will listen to your sensible advice. Be rude and they will not.
