Black Friday ( to when ever )

We have been flat out at work getting an extension ready for first fix plumb and leccy. We were finally able to take our foot of the gas on Thursday and suggested we (me and the labourer) go to Brum shopping.
My heart sank when he reminded me it was *****-Chav Friday!
We hit Selfridges at 8:00 a.m. and had an absolute boon. 70mins later on a way home with a MacBook Air and a few bags of shopping at a nice discount.

However, it was looking ominous by the time we left.

Totally agree, I much prefer Selfridges, a much better class of snob.

;)
Selfridges, All Saints, Deisel, Teddy b's, and John Lewis. No queues in any of these shops and plenty of assistants to boot. Even had an escalator girl on every floor in Lewis's to guide you to the correct zone. It was like shopping Carlsberg style.

Went to London for black friday............................I wasn't disappointed.

4 hours spent here http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/london-wall/
Thought £32 for the two of us to see the London crime exhibition was robbery.
Spent more than a few quid (and supposedly saved a few) in Regents and oxford Street(s) Which were surprisingly quiet.
Nice restaurant for dinner and a night in a carp hotel :(

You name dropper, you.

Good shops though.

With no thought for Black Friday I ordered something off Amazon on Thursday night.
It arrived this morning with an invoice for £14.99 instead of the expected £29.99 advertised when I placed the order.

I decided I would buy three for two on Dulux trade paint in Homebase. ( a saving of £49). The problem was I couldn't find any branch with more than two tins.
