The instruction manual for my fridge says that the wattage of the SES bulb must not exceed 10 watts. I have searched high and low and all I can find are lamps rated at 15 watts.

To me 5 watts is not a lot, but it is 50% bigger that the manufacturers maximum rating, and I imagine they must have good reason for restricting it to a maximum of 10. Does such a thing exist?

The existing bulb doesn't have a rating on it anywhere.

OK thanks, I will do that, I sort of assumed that if they existed, the shops would have them, but the half dozen or so I've looked in all only had 15W
