Hi All,
Hope this is the right place to ask the below
I have moved to a new place and it has got a Powermaster 10
1 key fob and that is all

I have been looking all over the net for some user instructions and found some for this device.

Now this is where I have come unstuck I have sorted most of it out BUT for the heck of me cannot find out how to do the below.
I have three pirs down stairs and one on the landing (zone 5 named upstairs)
What I want to do is to arm the downstairs BUT keep the upstairs OFF.
I have pressed the man in house (which says some one in the house)
But when I walk up stairs it sets off the alarm.
Like wise I have a out side garage that wants arming at night BUT the inside off.
I have read and read the instructions BUT still cannot get it.
What Am i doing wrong?
I cannot find out who installed it so cannot ask them.

Thank you for any help

This guy "Build" from Leicestershire may be able to help you

Hi JohnD

Thank you for the url.
I have made contact with him BUT he could not help as he has sent back the unit after hearing all the bad reports on here about support for it.
That does not hold much hope for me to get support if a Pro cannot get any help from the the makers.
So I'm back to where I was, on here trying to get some help.

Hi All
Well it looks like the guy Build was correct no support for visonic gear.
BUT I will try again just in case some kind person will help me
What I have done so far.
One pir in garage
One in hall
One door exit/enter
enabled partitions in installer control
Under zones garage set type to home e/e
So I want the garage to be armed at night but not the house
So I pressed the icon on the main control panel for partitions then pressed the number 1
Then pressed the key fob for man in house.
walk about down stairs all okay
enter garage alarm sounds.

BUT if I go out the front door then the alarm goes off.

Have I got it all set wrong? if so what have O got wrong.

Just hope some kind person can help out :(

You will need the installer code to set up your programmable part set options
Go into define zones, select the zone you require for partset(partitions)P1,P2,P3 these zones will be turned off when you select the part set function eg P1 downstairs on upstairs off
Same set up for garage?

Hi
Yes I have those, they are as the manual states. I can get into both the user and installer modes

okay I get to motion sens ,click okay, then it comes location I select garage.
then comes zone type then press double arrow til I come to partitions press ok
I see p1 p2 p3 this is where I'm lost to what to do.

I did say I was a dum blond.

If you select p1 this will turn off that zone when you do partition set.
So if you want different zones off in p1 you select that in define zone section for that zone.
P1 could be upstair off
P2 could be garage on and reset of house off if you select p2 for all zone in house.Thats how it works
You then set the partition you require by pressing #1 or #2

Arrrrrrrrrrr Got it ( I think) so to re cap

Sorry to be such a pain in the neck

I goto zone 4 garage
goto modify
then to zone type
set to interior press ok
press the double arrow pointing to the right till it comes to partitions press ok
i see p1 p2 p3
I see a flashing black squire at the side of the p1
i then press the number 1 on keyboard it turns into a black steady squire.
I then press ok the panel sounds and dev settings comes up
I then press lock key
ok to exit press ok
dev updating
p1 with r at side p2 p3 on screen

That is garage set

say I have just one pir kitchen I do the same BUT under zone type set this to not armed

Then when I am in the house and want the garage alarmed and the rest of the house off I press 1
on the control panel and then the man in the house button.

When I go out I press the away key on panel

Thank you for all your time and trouble with me, I do really appreciate it
