Hi, I recently moved into a property where we have two Grohe shower units, one with a main controller and one with a remote controller (45440). The main controller has not worked since we moved in (no display comes on, even with newly changed batteries). The shower operates without the controller but obviously I'd like it to work so we can adjust temperature etc.
The Remote controller for the second unit was working till recently but has now stopped (I've tried new batteries - no change). As a result we have no way to turn this shower on/off.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just out of curiosity..... If the shower was turned on by the remote and then the remote ceased to work for some reason would the shower remain running until the water was turned off.

Or is there a fail safe system in that the shower will turn itself off if the remote control unit stops transmitting repeated RUN commands.
