I'm not against saving any life.
I'm against nosy busybodies claiming what they are doing is noble and life changing when it isn't.
They could do something worthwhile and save many lives but choose to make people's lives miserable instead.
That's what's truly obnoxious. That and being fat and having bad breath eh Ban.

Well I don't claim that intervening is life changing - quite the reverse, it should be absolutely not life changing ! Of course, just sitting back and waiting to see if the risk turns into an event may well be very life changing for the poor sod on the receiving end.

Depends if the bloke was overweight and had bad breath. I wouldn't want a lard arse with halitosis anywhere near me. Besides, a fatty might injure himself trying to climb a ladder.

While some might respond along the lines of "thank you for bringing it to my attention, I'd missed that and will deal with it". Certain people here have shown that they consider H&S to be nothing but a hindrance, and anyone "sticking their nose in" to be worthy of nothing but complete and utter derision - and with that sort of mentality, one always wonders whether they have any self control or if they are the sort that will ask you to leave with a clenched fist.

That depends if they are a complete knob or not
One also wonders if asking them how being overweight, or not, having bad breath, or not, or having both, or neither, is a relevant to whether someone should report H&S concerns would elicit an intelligent and reasoned answer or a clenched fist.

Without the option of talking to anyone on site - a phone call it is thenThe thing is, they can't come on to site to complain without Hi-viz and safety boots in the first place. If they did, they would have to be forcefully removed.
