Washer moving about

My Hotpoint Ultima wf860 has started when using low spin speeds to shake about and move forwards and sideways from under the worktop.
This happens mainly as the spin cycle begins and again as it comes to a stop, all other operations seem ok including fast spin.
I wondered if it could be weak shock dampers ? any advice would be welcome.

Usually it is simply that the adjustable feet have adjusted themselves, so the washer isn't sitting dead flat on the floor anymore. Readjust them.
I also use a rolled-up newspaper, jammed between the washer and the countertop, to hold the washer rock steady.

I have checked the level and all is ok, when the problem occurs its at the very start of the slow spin there is a bump noise and the machine moves in a anticlockwise direction by several inches as viewed from above, leaving it stuck out at an angle.
