cast iron guttering leaking

Ive got cast iron guttering, and next door as pvc guttering, next doors gutter comes over my property and where its joined its leaking into my bedroom above the window its caused so much damage and damp ive got to get the full wall in my bedroom plastered, ive spoke to the landlord (grant management) they said its not ther problem because they bought the property after the guttering was replaced they did come out and put flashing under the join but its still leaking please help

Are you the tenant or the landlord? When I was renting, we had a similar situation. Gutter was faulty and water was pi55ing through the walls. We told our landlord & estate agents numerous times and they never fixed it. So we stopped paying rent for 2 months :)
 
Its my own property, next doors is landlord the company is called grant management they own thousands of houses they let them out to students
 
It will be a joint job if you get me - as in the cost should be split, as you both need to buy / fashion a connection up that both types of gutter can link to without leaking.

They are bullshiting you!!! and I guess you know that. I would say try the council take photo's and build a case.
 
I am will to put half to scruffybike but they said noo, and andy I am prepared to get a roofer round and replace the guttering not a problem but they hum and ar about it coz they need to get the same type of gutter, catland I no ther takin the **** they did send someone round to fix it up proper botch up job the gutter is a foot over my property its the damage its coursed to my bedroom wall only noticed it wen I started striping the wall paper off, what should of took me 2 day to strip and wallpaper and cost me 100 quid is gunner cost a few 100 now coz it needs plastering
 
Are they right in saying its not ther fault because they bought the property after guttering was fitted?
